Rita’s diverse experience spans more than a decade and crosses multiple sectors, industries, and jurisdictions. She has a solid foundation in commercial litigation and corporate financing transactions as an internationally qualified lawyer. Her career also includes roles in Canadian banking, public sector consulting, and Indigenous advisory services.

Rita holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B, 2012) from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013. She earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Commercial Law from the University of Sussex, UK (2016), and a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Administration from Thompson Rivers University, Canada (2019, Dean’s List). She also holds a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, demonstrating her strong grasp of Canadian law.
